Who is HealthiNation?
HealthiNation is your source for health video that educates and inspires. Working with our team of medical advisors, we make complex health topics easy to understand. You’ll find patient experiences, health experts who give you the straight answers, and enlightening 3D animations to show you how things work inside the body.

Where can I watch your videos?
You can watch our videos on TV or on the internet! On TV we are available in select areas through your cable operator’s video-on-demand service. Find HealthiNation on your TV cable system now.

Does it cost anything to watch HealthiNation?
All HealthiNation videos are free!

Can I buy your videos on DVD?
Currently our videos are unavailable for download or individual sale. You can see them online or on TV.

How do you develop your videos?
Our programs are a shared labor of love between our Medical Advisors, who ensure the accuracy of the content, and our producers who make each program easy for you to understand. We’ve done tons of research with people like you to make sure we’re giving you the best possible information and experience.

I see advertising with your videos. Are you affiliated with advertisers?
Absolutely no advertisers play any role in the development of our videos. We are 100% independent, which is why we used an ‘i’ in HealthiNation!

How do you choose your video topics?
We work with our Medical Advisors to determine our programs. We also want to hear from you and our partners about what people want to know about their health. Suggest a topic now.

Who are the doctors and health care professionals in your videos?
The doctors and health care professionals we work with are accredited, respected personalities in their respective fields. Not only do they have the qualifications to ensure the medical integrity of our content, but they also have a passion for teaching patients about their health. Many of our Medical Advisors have contributed to several media outlets, including Health Magazine, CBS Morning Show, ABC News, Fox News, and the TODAY Show on NBC.

How do you find people to tell their health stories?
We find many people who want to share their stories through our partnership with hospitals and health associations, but we also find them through our website. We’re always looking for experiences that fit our educational needs, which can help other people with their health concerns. If you’d like to tell your story and possibly have it filmed for HealthiNation, tell your story here. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to use it, but if we can we’ll get in touch!

Do I need special software to watch HealthiNation online?"
Most computers that have been bought in the last 3 years should have everything you need. We recommend a minimum 1.5GHz PC or Mac and a high-speed broadband connection for optimal playback. Our video players require Safari or Firefox and Flash Player 9 on Mac OS X 10.3 or higher and Internet Explorer or Firefox and Flash Player 9 on Windows 2000, XP, or Vista. Viewers with earlier versions of Flash will be prompted to upgrade to the latest version. We do not currently support playback on Linux.

Can I put HealthiNation video on my site or blog?
We syndicate our videos to websites meeting specific traffic and audience requirements. Generally for a full syndication partnership, we need to review your size and generally you need to be over 100,000 monthly health audience unique users.
