1 box Brown Rice Pasta, penne or spirals
1 kale leaf, de-stemmed
½ cup olive oil
½ tsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup fresh basil
¼ cup raw almonds
1 garlic clove
¼ tsp sea salt
Make the brown rice pasta according to directions.
In blender, blend up basil, garlic, kale and almonds until finely chopped.
Add in olive oil, lemon, sea salt and pepper and blend until smooth.
Once the pasta is ready, drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking
Add the pesto on top of the pasta and viola!
