Fighting Seasonal Allergies1) Shut the windows in your car and home. Then, use an air conditioner or fan to keep the air moving. 2) Tune into the radio or check the internet daily for the pollen count. Hot, dry, windy days tend to be the worst. 3) Get a late start. Avoid exercising outdoors between 5am & 10am when pollen counts are highest. 4) At the end of the day, grab a quick shower to rinse allergens off your skin and out of your hair. 5) Use simple saline sprays and rinses to wash allergens out from your nose. There’s no cure for allergies, but mount a strong defense and you’ll be back to your old self before you can say gesundheit! |
