Helen Maliagros Scott, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She currently practices hospital medicine in New York and is an assistant professor of pediatrics. Dr. Scott received her undergraduate degree from New York University, her medical degree from New York Medical College, and did her pediatric residency training at Schneider Children’s Hospital at North Shore-LIJ (now Cohen Children’s Medical Center), where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Scott has professional interests in medical simulation and medical education. She is an avid indoor cyclist and runner who enjoys motivating and supporting others in their fitness journeys. She lives in Long Island, New York, with her husband and two daughters and is most passionate about being a mom.
