Jaime Alberty, MD
Jaime Alberty, MD, is an assistant professor of surgery with the Division of Breast Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He sees patients at the Mount Sinai Dubin Breast Center and Mount Sinai Queens. Dr. Alberty is a board certified general surgeon with fellowship training in breast surgical oncology. His expertise includes all areas of benign and malignant breast disorders, with a special focus on breast cancer. Dr. Alberty is a "Hidden Scar" certified surgeon, and has extensive experience in breast ultrasonography, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and nipple- and areola-sparing mastectomies. Dr. Alberty received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where he also did his residency training in general surgery, and completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at The Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
