Living with Psoriatic Arthritis

There are a number of steps you can take to make living with psoriatic arthritis easier and less painful. First, try to maintain a healthy weight as excess weight puts more of a strain on your joints. Physical or occupational therapy can be good for developing helpful techniques for doing everyday activities. In addition, it's important to manage your stress, as stress can often overwhelm your symptoms. High intensity activities may also adversely affect you, so it is best to stay away from such activities. Also, try using hot and cold packs when needed. In this video Dr. Preeti Parikh explains treatment for psoriatic arthritis, as she provides useful tips and more ways to live with psoriatic arthritis, as it is a chronic condition.
