Infant illnesses and childhood illnesses are very common. In fact, children develop 3-10 colds per year and most last 10-14 days. But should they be a cause for major concern? She says that a call to the doctor is typically necessary when symptoms are extreme or if you child is very young (typically under 3 months old), but she also discusses cold remedies for kids that you can do on your own at home.
