Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects many parts of the body including the feet. Problems arise due to poor circulation resulting in wounds that may not heal well and thus become infected. The other major concern is nerve damage; this is called diabetic or foot neuropathy. In this video, Dr. John Brummer discusses diabetic foot care and provides some tips on avoiding common hazards.
