Label Lingo

If you want to make smart eating decisions, take time to read and understand nutrition labels. Check portions and look at the ingredient list; the higher an ingredient is listed, the more it is in your food. Avoid foods with ingredients labeled hydrogenated, partially hydrogenated, and shortening as these are all synonyms for trans fats.
