A common rule when looking for healthy food in the supermarket is to stick to the outer edges. Grocers stock their best, least processed seasonal foods (fruits and vegetables) along the walls of their stores while higher processed foods are in the middle. The one exception is the freezer where you’ll find things like frozen veggies that are just as healthy as their unfrozen counterpart.
