Perfect Plate

The old confusing food pyramid has been transformed in to a nice little circle. Fill half of your plate with fruits and veggies, fill a quarter of your plate with whole grains, and fill the remaining quarter of your plate with lean means for protein. If you follow this guideline it will lower your overall intake of saturated fats and processed foods, thus resulting in fewer calories consumed.
