What is Gyrotonic? Gyrotonic is a unique system of exercise that incorporates movement principles from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and t'ai chi.

In episode 25 of Tryout Workout, Desi heads to Kinespirit to learn all about Gyrotonic. Instructor Chantal discusses how this Pilates-type exercise focuses on the whole body by using a pulley system. Gyrotonic simultaneously stretches and strengthens the body, increasing range of motion, correcting posture and developing coordination.
