A Trainer's Tips for Sneaking in Exercise (Without Working Out)

Sigh of relief: You can easily burn calories and stay fit without stepping foot in the gym.

Just because you don’t have time for the gym, doesn’t mean you can’t burn calories throughout the day. Squeezing in a quick fitness program is easier than you may think. 

In this video, Certified Fitness Instructor Jason Schaeffer gives his tips on how to stay active a few minutes at a time. Since you only need around 30 minutes of exercise every day, Schaeffer recommends activities such as speed walking or bike riding. If you’re at home, cleaning your yard is also a great way to burn calories while also accomplishing a goal.
