In this episode of Food Rescue, nutritionist Amy Hendel brings Janae to the Farmer’s Market and introduces her to fresh fish. She explains that fish like tilefish, swordfish and king mackerel are high in mercury and should be avoided. When in the Farmer’s Market, look for oily fishes like salmon and trout. Buying fruits and veggies are essential to a diet but be careful of ones affected by pesticides. If they are on the “Dirty Dozen” list, make sure you buy organic.
