All you need is a blender and a few simple ingredients to enjoy this guilt-free, clean eating dessert.
For this recipe you will need 2 frozen bananas that you will slice in chunks, nut butter and almond milk which will all go in a blender. Make sure to stop and stir throughout the blending process to make sure the texture is nice and even. After blending you will top off the mixture with cacao nibs and coconut. To make sure the ice cream is consistent make sure to freeze it before serving, because it gets soft fast!
- 2 frozen bananas (sliced in chunks)
- 1 ½ tablespoon freshly ground almond butter
- ¼ cup almond milk
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs (or dark chocolate chips)
- 1 teaspoon shredded coconut (unsweetened)
InstructionsPlace frozen bananas, nut butter, and almond milk into blender. Blend on low, stopping to stir with a wooden spoon every once in a while. Remove from blender and top with cacao nibs and coconut. For best consistency, freeze entire bowl of ice cream before serving (it gets soft fast).
