Healthy Grocery Shopping: Fresh Foods

A big part of healthy eating is making smart, nutritious choices in the grocery store. In this video, Registered Dietitian Sheila Kelly shares her tips on how to make it through the grocery store without impulsively grabbing those sugary snacks. Kelly recommends showing up to the store prepared. Always bring a list and never go shopping when you’re hungry. Shop the perimeter of the store, as that’s where most of the healthy, natural foods are.
