Chips and dip the healthy way! Watch as Arielle guides you through this clean eating hummus recipe with homemade brown rice tortilla chips.

Store bought chips are typically fried, but we are going to bake ours. Take whole wheat tortillas or brown rice tortillas and cut into triangle slices, the size of a regular tortilla chip. Place tortillas on a baking tray evenly. Spray each tip with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.

Set oven to broil and set chips in oven for about 5 minutes.

While chips are cooking you can make the hummus. Place 1 can of chickpeas, 1/3 cup of tahini, 1/2 lemon juiced, 1 tbsp of water, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/4 tsp of salt, 2 tbs of olive oil in blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Yes, its that simple!  Clean eating is all about what you put in your food, but it’s also about how you even present it to yourself.

Remove chips from the oven once crispy.  Sprinkle some paprika and parsley on the hummus and enjoy! See, you don’t have to give up on things you love.  You just have to make them healthier!
