There’s nothing better on a hot summer day than a refreshing smoothie. This is an organic and healthy smoothie so all ingredients are fresh, you can also add some whey protein after a workout to make this the ultimate meal replacement!
In this video, Phoebe Lapine teaches you how to make her favorite: a Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie. This is a great twist on a classic banana smoothie and adds in a little nutty flavor as well as some protein.

- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate 70% or higher (plus more for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
- ½ cup almond milk
- ¼ cup lactose-free kefir (optional)
InstructionsCombine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a glass and garnish with a few cacao nibs. Makes 1 serving
