Today, Arielle Haspel will show you how to make some delicious and healthy Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce, a pasta favorite. With just a few substitutions to the classic recipe, you will now be able to get some essential nutrients out of this amazingly simple Italian dish.
First, you're going to saute 1 chopped white onion with a little olive oil and some water. Now you're ready to add some of the beef, which is half a pound of grass-fed organic beef. Next, add in 10 cherry tomatoes straight to the pan, which will wilt down as soon as they heat up a little. Then sprinkle in some kale (3 leaves), 1 cup of basil, and 1 cup of parsley to add some flavor into the beef.
To add some more veggies into the mix, add 3 large mushrooms. Then, sprinkle in half a teaspoon of sea salt and half a teaspoon of pepper.
Once all the veggies seem to be nice and cooked, you can add in 2 cups of tomato sauce. Keep the bolognese sauce in the heat and let it simmer so you really mix those flavors together.
For the spaghetti, you'll be cooking some brown rice spaghetti, which is much healthier than white or even whole wheat pasta. Once the spaghetti is ready, add it into your Bolognese sauce and enjoy without the guilt!
