Diabetes is a disease that requires someone to alter their lifestyle. Many have a hard time letting go of some old habits, mainly because they don't feel that they have an affect on their condition. 

In this video, Nutritionist Amy Hendel explains the effects of mixing alcohol and diabetes and how someone with diabetes should be wary of consuming too much. Drinking can be done, but within moderation, it takes incredible self control and will power to control something that some loose control of with or without a disease to battle. 

Diabetes stresses the liver and pancreas just like alcohol, so mixing the two can mean double trouble for your body.
