Backyard Obstacle Courses

Try easy and fun backyard obstacle courses with your children this summer! This simple course will help your children develop gross motor skills

Try easy and fun backyard obstacle courses with your children this summer! Pediatrician's recommend 60 minutes of activity everyday for children, so why not get them outside and having fun? This obstacle course contains three components. First we attached strings along the trees - having your child navigate through these teaches them gross motor development visual coordination and rules. Second we created a tunnel with pool noodles, this teaches children turn taking, gross motor development and develops strength. Third we placed hula hoops on the ground. Kids can use their creativity getting from one hoop to the other to finish the course. Give it a try, the kids will love it!
