In this video, Dr. Preeti Parikh talks about what you can expect from your child when they reach 10 months old. As a parent you should limit the time your children spend in places that restrict movement such as cribs or strollers. One way to strengthen their muscles is to place them near a solid piece of furniture and see if they can hold themselves up with two hands. Do not put your child in a walker that has wheels as this discourages them from walking on their own. Remember, your child will want to explore every part of the house so make sure you have your home baby-proofed for some piece of mind.
