Diagnosing asthma can be difficult because symptoms may be mild or look like they are caused by another condition. To insure you are properly diagnosed, your doctor will likely give you a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). There are four main cases of asthma: mild intermittent, mild persistent, moderate persistent, and severe persistent. In this video, Dr. Preeti Parikh how managing asthma is achievable, and how recognizing an attack can be crucial to alleviating your symptoms.
