Schizophrenia is a psychiatric disorder involving chronic psychosis. Psychosis causes abnormal thinking and perceptions including hallucinations, delusions, disorganized behavior, and lack of motivation. It affects less than 1% of the population and symptoms usually develop quite slowly. In this video, Dr. Susan Samuels discusses the potential warning signs associated with schizophrenia.
