Having high triglycerides means you have too much fat in your blood. In this video, Registered Dietitian Sharon Richter talks about what foods you should avoid. Richter explains the difference between trans fats and saturated fats. It is important to read labels and limit foods that contain sucrose, glucose, fructose, corn syrup, honey, molasses and maltose. Limiting alcohol is also recommended as it contains lots of calories and tends to lead to bad food decisions.
