AFIB Overview

Atrial fibrillation is associated with increased risk for stroke and heart failure, which can lead to permanent damage or even death. Some less serious but still harmful symptoms associated with AF include sleep deprivation, lightheadedness, poor concentration, and the inability to exercise properly.
