Common Cold Symptoms

A few of the risk factors for catching the common cold include adults with allergies, those who spend much of the day indoors, and children. Since there is no cure for a cold, the only way to beat it is to wait it out and treat the cold symptoms. However, if you experience the following common cold symptoms, you may want to see a doctor: symptoms lasting longer than a week, a fever of higher than 102 degrees, aches, fatigue, sweating.

Adults who spend time indoors and children are most at risk for the common cold. Close contact often increases the risk of the common cold as well as stress.
