Most of us consume sugar every day without even knowing it. Raw sugar, honey, table sugar, glucose, fructose, and cane juice are just a few of the kinds of sugar we ingest daily. While sugar is the essential energy source needed for our body to live, having too much of it can be bad for your health. In fact, you are more likely to gain weight from drinking calories as opposed to eating calories.Why is sugar bad for you, though? It is recommended you consume no more than 100-150 calories a day from added sugar. Cutting down on youradded sugar will help you feel better and lower the risk of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and tooth decay.
