Building Blocks: Milestones at 2 Months Old

In this video, Dr. Preeti Parikh explains some things you can do with your child that will help them hit important baby development milestones. When babies hit two months, they are likely interacting with the world around them and they can lift their heads on their own and follow objects consciously. At two months, your baby should be meeting certain milestones that include noticing their hands, smiling at the sound of your voice, and following objects side to side with their eyes. If your child is not doing these things by the time they are two months old it may be a sign of developmental problems and you should consult with your doctor.
