Building Blocks: Milestones at 15 Months Old

In this video, Dr. Preeti Parikh talks about what you can expect from your child when they reach 15 months old. At this stage they are really starting to exert their independence. They want to be the center of attention and will cry or shout until they get it. This is a great time to let them use a spoon or cup, even if it is messy. It is important to always pay attention as more accidents happen during the toddler years than any other stage of development. If your child hasn’t taken a few steps or started using even a few words, contact your pediatrician to see if your child has some form of developmental delays.
