Better You Tip: Stress & Nicotine Withdrawal

Dr. Atkinson suggests taking a moment to write down on a piece of paper a list of reasons why you decided to quit smoking, as a reminder of why this period of nicotine withdrawal will be worth it in the end. When you are experiencing anxiety, staying active and focusing on your breathing are great techniques for channeling that stress.
