Very High Triglycerides: Cooking Up Better Choices

For someone with high triglycerides, eating healthy is essential. But choosing the right food is only half the battle. It is important to prepare your foods correctly. Oily fish like salmon is high in Omega-3 fatty acids and is recommended two times a week. But if you fry the fish instead of baking, broiling or steaming it, the fish will be swimming in saturated fat. As a rule, stay away from saturated fats and opt instead for fresh herbs.
